This is an excellent workshop for developing and improving your soldering skills. Become proficient in the art of pick-soldering and torch control while you start creating a chain of your own design. Start by creating links for a bracelet and a toggle clasp (that doesn't fall off) then work your way up to a neck chain.
Lots of tips and tricks will be shared along the way. Texture your links, change the shape of your links and add interesting components in between your chain links. Join us for this fun 2-part workshop and get your chain-making groove on!
Bring a minimum of 36" of copper or sterling silver round wire with you to class to create a bracelet. Recommended gauges to start are 16g, 14g and 12g. If you have larger diameter links in mind you will need more material to make links. If you want to create a toggle clasp with thicker material please bring a larger gauge material in round or square. Sterling silver and copper materials will also be available to purchase at the studio as needed.
Cancellations with less than 48 hour notice will not be credited or refunded.
Class fee includes the use of tools, equipment, all solder, fuel and the use of our finishing supplies. Additional materials and supplies can be purchased as needed.
