This intermediate-level workshop will focus on the stone setting technique known as flush setting or rub-over setting. We will cover the anatomy of faceted stones, types and sizes of burs, choosing and altering setting tools, and lastly, learn the process of flush setting. Practice makes perfect!
Please note some metalsmithing experience is required for this workshop - this workshop is not recommended for beginners. Limited seating - register early!
There will be a kit fee payable the first night of class which will include sterling silver, calibrated CZ stones, drill bits and burs, recommended burnisher, etc used during the workshop. Average kit fee $50.

Sarah Chapman has worked in the field for 20 years and primarily works with oxidized sterling silver, copper, brass, and 14k gold to create her pieces. Since 2008, Sarah has been using recycled, conflict-free, and SCS certified gold and sterling silver when fabricating her jewelry, also using repurposed brass and copper when possible.
